Hints and tips:

- The first section (Luxembourg - Blumenthal) exists only in one version. It's not technically difficult, yet nice riding sometimes on singletrails. Have a first break at the Schetzel Cave (just 200 m off track follow the signs).

- There are no good sleeping possibilities between Luxembourg and Echternach. In the easy version, it's about 45 km and 500 km uphill. This should be feasible even for less experienced riders in one whole day.

- The difficult version "Blumenthal - Larochette" does not cross the city of Echternach (in order to maximize the amount of singletrails) but it can easily be combined with the green versions in order to cut short and stay overnight in Echternach.

- Mersch has a railway station which makes it easy to connect with Luxembourg-city (trains every 15 minutes).

2-day version for experienced riders: overnight stay in Larochette

3-day version for intermediate riders: overnight stays in Echternach and Mersch

4-day version for beginners: overnight stays in Echternach, Beaufort and Mersch. Take a half day to visit the two castles of Beaufort.
