Vianden Trailcamp

Last but not least.... our new trailcamp in Vianden is the fourth in the row (after Red Rock, Müllerthal and Stausee). How can it be that we have not come earlier here? The area around this medieval village abounds with nice little trails that can't await to be discovered by you. So here it goes...

The camp is still in preparation, hence we cannot reveal it all, but it will be different from all the others. Vianden lying in a sort of basin surrounded by quite high and steep Ardennes hills, what we plan is a sort of "up and down": up on large forest tracks and down on the narrow trails. You can expect around 3-4 climbs and descents per day, each one having around 200 m of height difference. There will of course be some junctions and additional climbing, but we will work on these aspects in the winter months...

So basically, there will be around 35-40 Km of riding for around 1000-1200 m of up- and downhill. The endurance level is set at 3 (out of 4) and the technical level is "intermediate - advanced". Rock sections and switchback curves will be the pepper and the salt of the daily dishes.
